Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away Review

Sharing is caring!

Growing up, I took a lot of jobs cleaning people’s houses. Because of that, I’ve tried several different vacuums over the years, from the Dyson Ball to the old ones that weigh a kajillion pounds and suck up next to nothing.

I had never used a Shark Vacuum though and everyone I knew kept raving about the Shark brand and so I finally decided see what all the fuss was about. The Shark Vacuum I’ve decided to review is the Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away. When I received the product (product was accepted for review purposes.) I was a little nervous because it seemed like maybe it was a little overly-complex with all its snaps and clicks. I’m happy to report however, that we LOVE everything about this vacuum and the snaps and clicks actually make it WAY more efficient and easy to use! Seriously. I can honestly say, this is the best vacuum I have ever used. And here are a few reasons why:

First off, the suction on this vacuum is INCREDIBLE. I ran my old vacuum over our floor before I used the Shark Rotator just so I could see how much extra it would suck up. Here is a picture of what it picked up in addition to my old vacuum. In ONE room.

That is almost HALF of the canister filled with gunk!! I feel a little grossed out now that I know just how much was still on my floor after my previous vacuuming in the past. Hello! I have a baby. We play on the floor all the time! {eeeeek!!}

Secondly, let’s talk about all those handy snaps for just a second here. I love that I can easily snap off the canister from the main base, and snap open the bottom of it to release all the gunk into the trash without having to touch any of it. The canister is also completely sealed so the stuff you vacuum up isn’t floating back into the air you breath, the whole deal is a wonderful bagless process.  It’s also super awesome that you can easily slide off the main part of the vacuum, with a single click, so that you can get into the hard to reach places- like under furniture (something I couldn’t do with a Dyson).

You can also snap off the main vacuum to hook up any of the sweet tools it comes with to get in tight corners, vacuum furniture (super nice if you have pets!), dust, etc… Although if you have pets, you might look into getting the best shark vacuum for pet hair.

For both of those reasons, its easy fingertip controls (choose between 3 different floor types), long chord, and several different cleaning tools, this vacuum gets 5 stars and two thumbs up from this girl! I’d highly recommend this vacuum to anyone searching for a new vacuum. The Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away truly SUCKS. And in the best possible definition of the word. 😉
